| Before ice dancing: |
Before switching to Ice Dance full time, I studied Ballet, was a competitive Ballroom dancer and Rhythmic Gymnast. As one of the top Pacific Region gymnasts, I was nominated to U.S. “Future Stars” team and qualified to compete in three Rhythmic Gymnastics National Championships. | I had a successful career in singles, while I was developing my dance alongside my singles skating. I ultimately switched full time to dance at age 16, after sustaining several injuries that limited the amount of time I could spend jumping. |
| My future: | I love to draw and would enjoy a career of an artist, graphic, interior, or costume designer. | While skating will always be a huge part of my life, either as an official or a coach when my competitive days are over, I would like to complete my degree in Fine Arts/Theatre and use that training both onstage and on the ice. |
